Ok….so you want the truth…CAN YOU HANDLE THE TRUTH!

I started my "rock" career in high school, with many "garage" bands (really just playing for crowds of two or three) in basements in Grayslake, until 1984, when I auditioned for the now famous super group "Allied Forces", where I met Tony Besson. "Allied Forces" ruled Lake County until late 1985, when Tony and I split to form the band "Too Young"with Roger and Henry Jansen. That was short lived, as everyone decided to go to school and Tony decided to try his hand at rock stardom in Florida.

Once that group disbanded, I played around with other bands, but nothing really panned out. I decided to "hang it up" so to speak and get a "real" job (yeah right), get married and have children, all the while waiting for another chance at rock stardom. You could say I waited an AWFUL long time!

By chance, I met up with Tony 20 years later (after seeing THE AWFUL TRUTH rock Lake Villa Days) and discussed the possibility of the ultimate "comeback" tour with the most lethal cover band in the world, the AWFUL TRUTH. Things worked out (after I had to pay the band up front "royalty fee's", which really turned out to be providing "libations" during practice, the use of my truck for hauling equipment, calling Ron "Mr. Big" and basically putting up with Mike) and here I am…ready to rock like I've never rocked before!
